Loraine was a devoted Christian lady. She called Forward Community Church of God "her church" and throughout the years, she served in multiple leadership roles. She dedicated her life to praying, giving generously, and ministering to the many people of "her church family" whom she loved dearly. She read her Bible daily and cherished praising the Lord.

In her personal life, Loraine was an exceptional quilter and seamstress.
