BRADENTON  Live music lovers will have plenty of great shows to choose from this weekend in the 941 area. Among the scheduled performances are dance-party favorite 22N, rock band The Dirty Janes, and blues artist Rebekah Pulley, to name a few. Rebekah Pulley

Birdrock Taco Shack

Friday: 7-10 p.m.


From St. Petersburg, Florida, Rebekah Pulley is a singer-songwriter and guitarist who has etched out her musical imprint through a diverse setting of performances, including house concerts, bars, coffeehouses, and festivals around the globe. Pulley has earned herself eight Best of The Bay songwriting, recording, and performance awards from Tampa s Creative Loafing. Pulley is sure to please with her smoky Southern Folk sound infused with roots rock, blues, old-school country, jazz, and gospel. No cover.

The Dirty Janes

OSCURA

Tampa-based 4-piece The Dirty Janes will rock Bradenton s OSCURA this Friday night! Formerly performing under the moniker of ""Sick Hot,"" The Dirty Janes is an ""old skool"" authentic rock n roll band playing original music embodying the nostalgic sounds of rock greats such as Humble Pie, Slade, and early Aerosmith.


Band members Nik Wilson (guitar/vocals), Cory Bernardi (drums), Chris Erickson (bass), and Brandon Chacon (guitar), have launched The Dirty Janes from a decade-plus foundation of setlists of throwback rock and roll covers from countless gigs in small-time venues to major performances on festival stages. The band is currently working toward the release of a full-length album of all-original authentic rock music. Cover $5.
