Karen Marie Hormuth, loving mother, sister and friend, passed away in her Bradenton, Florida home on July 17, 2022.
Karen was born in Moline, IL, raised in Evansville, IN and lived her life in Bradenton, FL with her daughter Madison Coons and their dog Plum. She graduated in 1981 from F.J. Reitz High School in Evansville, IN and received Keiser College certifications in Bradenton, FL. Karen’s passion in life was helping others in need.
She is survived by her daughter, Madison; her dog, Plum; brothers, Kent Hormuth (Sarah, Jack, Brendon, Kashia) of Dana Point, CA, Kris Hormuth (Mark Ciarciello, Ella) of Old Saybrook, CT, brother Kyle Hormuth (Becky, Kylee, Levi) of Wentzville, MO; sister, Karla Morton Larson (Bayley, Aubrey) of Gilford, CT and many cousins and friends.
A Celebration of life will be held in the near future. Brown & Sons Funeral Homes & Crematory 43rd Street Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
