Tony Marvin Walden, age 59, of Bradenton, FL., passed away on June 17, 2022.

He was born March 10, 1963, to the late Melvin Fredrick and Ruthie Mae Walden, Sr. in Bradenton, Florida. He was predeceased by his loving parents, and brothers; Andra Bryant, Melvin F. III, and Carl S. Walden.

Tony accepted Christ Jesus as his Lord and Savior at an early age at Antioch Missionary Baptist Church under the late Reverend Willie F. Cotton in Rochester, New York.

Tony was a loving son, brother, father, uncle, and compassionate friend. Tony will always be remembered for his caring nature and willingness to lend a helping hand. A Bible Instructor/Teacher to all. He loved the Lord and made sure everyone he encountered knew about the Lord. He was an Athletic Trainer, changing the lives of many clients in the Coral Springs and Fort Lauderdale areas.

Sadly, on Friday, June 17, 2022, he departed this world peaceful, yet unexpectedly, in Plantation, Florida.

Tony leaves to cherish his memories 3daughters Mechell Straughn (Marus) of Pensacola, FL and Toni Bloomer of St. Petersburg, FL. 6 grandchildren: Marley, Makiah, Eli, Jaylen, Jordyn and Kylie: 3 Brothers: Reginald Walden of Flowery Branch, GA, Fred and Melvin Walden, of Tampa, FL: 7 sisters: Patricia Stroughter, of Charlotte, NC, Linda Charles, of Rochester, NY, Gwen Bryant, of Sarasota, FL, Twanda Overton (Clinton) and Susan Walden Goff, of Spring Hill, Florida, Kimberly, Diane, Michelle and Lisa Walden of Tampa, FL.Uncles: Louis Culpepper, Jr. (Vera),Marietta, GA, and Fred Walden Bradenton, FL. Aunts: Zelma Culpepper, Tampa, FL and Beverly Walden Ackerman (Eugene),Bradenton, FL. He also leaves a host ofaunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews,and friends.

A Celebration of Life is scheduled for Thursday, July 7, 2022, at 12:00 PM at the Westside Funeral Home, 204 7th St W., Palmetto, FL 34221.
