Amere Dunbar, age 16, of Palmetto, Florida, passed away August of 2022.
Amere was born on March 12, 2006, to Portia Waiters and Rodney Dunbar, Jr.
Amare attended Horizon's Academy and was excited to start his junior year. He was a sweet outgoing kid that was so full of life. Amare was smart and always had a smile on his face. He had many talents and hobbies. Such as playing football, dancing, and playing his video games. He was very active and enjoyed being outside doing flips and hanging with his brother and friends .
Amare always saw himself as a protector to his siblings. He loved his parents but most importantly, his mother. He was always by her side and considered a momma’s boy. He always made sure his family knew he loved them.

Public viewing will be held on Friday, August 12, 2022, from 6 PM to 8 PM at Westside funeral home 204 7th St. W., Palmetto, FL 34221. Celebration of life will be held at 1 PM on Saturday, August 13, 2022, at Church of Hope 1702 10th St., West Palmetto, FL 34221.
