Cheryl Lyn Andreu Brown, 75, of Bradenton, FL, passed away with family by her side on Saturday, August 6, 2022.
Born to the late Ovid Eugene (Audrey) Andreu, Cheryl was a native of Florida for many generations. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was preceded by her youngest son, Zachary Millard Brown in 2020.
She was passionately called "Honey" by her family and friends.
Cheryl is survived by her husband of over 50 years, Chuck; sons, Gene (Gina), David (Michael), Chuck (Wendy) and also survived by her best friend and only daughter, Stacey Brown Mould (Bobby); grandchildren, Tyler, Ryan (Stefanie), Rachel (Caitlyn), Austin, Emily and Charlee Anna and great-grandchildren, Jake, Jackson, Leila and Aden.
Honey was a special person to so many including her nieces and nephews and all who called her mom. She always told us she was glad she was a baby boomer. Cheryl and Chuck had a dream with 4 kids in tow and still in their twenties to build and start our family funeral home. On Halloween night October 31, 1975, we moved into our new home, the funeral home, and opened the doors the next morning. Anything she set her mind to she did it with passion and always for the betterment of her family. Cheryl was the true matriarch of the Brown family. She was a movie buff with a special attraction to horror and mystery movies. Words can’t express how much she will be missed.

A Funeral mass will be held at 9:30 AM, Friday, August 12, 2022, at Ss Peter & Paul the Apostles Catholic Church, 2850 75th St W., Bradenton FL 34209. Burial will follow the mass at Fogartyville Cemetery, 4200 3rd Ave NW, Bradenton, FL 34209.
