Ronald Edwin Larson, 75, of Bradenton, Florida, passed away on August 3, 2022.
Ronald was born February 10, 1947, to Oscar Rinaldi Larson & Mary Lou Carpenter. He passed on from this life at 3:25 A.M. August 3, 2022, while in Manatee Memorial Hospital after a series of unfortunate events & complications related to a recent heart surgery.
He is survived by his loving wife, Susan Mahler Larson, step-children, Rachel & Thom Czischke and Pamela & Adam Stepansky, and many loving friends and community members.
Visitation will be 2:30 P.M. to 3:30 P.M., Saturday, August 6, 2022, followed by a Service in his honor at 3:30 P.M. at Brown & Sons Funeral Homes & Crematory, 43rd Street Chapel, 604 43rd Street W, Bradenton, FL 34209.
Ron was both a brave and ingenious man who served as a medic in the Vietnam War before embarking on a career as a senior health physicist at the University of South Florida. In his later years he retired and remarried to Susan, a sweetheart from his youth, who cared for him until his final hours. He will be remembered for his warmth, sincerity, sense of humor, and inability to beat his wife in a game of Scrabble.
